i'd tribute her as having the best female voice ever.

i put my BEST2000 cd in my rusty dusty sony boombox for a lack of anything else to listen to. (cheryl square has all my jamiroquai cds. she so owes me! i want them back for my birthday!) i'm still a sucker for cds and the old stereo. somehow things just sound so much better old school with large speakers.

This Is How We Do It - Solid Base

i kinda wondered why the heck i did that whilst listening to this. it was so cheesy i started thinking about how useful it'd be if i played it at the start of a rapture item with everyone doing really primary school moves, just to scare the crowd. then kick in some real griding hip-hop and bring in the crumps. (yeah it's got to be hip-hop for this to work i admit) the contrast would do the actual item wonders.

surprisingly,

some of the later tracks were so timelessly catchy (even with the somewhat primitive techo-beats and production) i decided to upload them to my itunes. WHOA!

well i have full confidence in my taste. so that i do still quite like some of the tracks, is part due to my history with them (sweet history.), but also means that there is some quality in them that continues to exist in the music i listen to today. it hasn't faded out of fad.

this is also proof that i've always had particular musical tendencies. any developments i've shown in my musical tastes is fully natural, naturally.
