grates me the sum

2008-08-12 at 11:43 p.m.

i found, when i felt quite at a loss for what to do with myself at the end of school, that i could think so much clearer (or even think at all) when i talked to myself. and the only way it could be done, by some incredulous fashion, was to do so in a weird amalgamation of accents, mostly british. i just can't concentrate if i speak in the way i normally would to a friend. i tried. it was so wrong. but i just felt sentences forming in a harmonious frequency as with my thoughts when i adopted the accent, and i felt more in control of my mind. it helps nearly as much as writing does.

weird. seriously. but a (disturbing) habit i'd be glad to adopt if it seriously works to my benefit.
