yesterday i got paid to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. i was so humoured from my amusement. apparently i was one of the lucky ones though. i heard ppl like cheryl had to do the old fashioned way of distributing paper by paper.was supposed to distribute da neu papier to students at schools collecting their Os results. at about 12, instead of going to work straight, the guys in charge of me and one other A level wait-er like took us to makan at the food center near corronation plaza. one of them treated me to a coconut lol. THEN we made our way to queensway where when i got dropped off at my school, found out that results would only be released at 2 and i had nothing to do in the meanwhile. and even then, everything was covered cause the teachers were all prepared to simply distribute the papers when the students arrived to collect their results. i waited till nearly 2, ate some under priced canteen food in the meanwhile. and when i went back up to the hall i found the school admin staff already distributing the stacks of papers to the collection tables, ready for the teachers to hand out later. the teacher in charge told me i could just go, hush hush, and explained that this is one way the government gives back to the people.

okay! yeah looseness in administration of resources. life is full of shit-ups in companies. imagine the $$ my own daddy is loosing from things like this.
anyway wasted a lot of time waiting for martin and serene to join me at bugis so i could take them to haji. after i left queensway i tried finding ikea but it was too far away from commonwealth station. later on the mrt after passing queenstown station steffy's friend (met them in the car skipping nus lecture haha) pointed it out to me in between the gaps of whizzing buildings. at bugis, chopshopped at topshop why are you so overpriced. it is not fair. (btw topshop had horrible changing room lights. so does pull and bear. if i do retail that is the most impt thing i'll tend to - to make sure changing room lights are flattering) haji was okay. whatever la. that place is commercialized and overpriced liao. but there was a store or two with good discounts and nice stuff. reason probably being the origin of the products was probably china or sth wth. i kept seeing this brand of "geek" specs called xiaodongsthsthblah. bought a $10 dress from house of japan cause the detail on the back is topshop design standard (HAH) however. HOWEVER, it looks damn shapeless ah mah from the front so it needs some work. and i was damn excited yesterday cause i figured out the perfect thing to do to fix it, and it's really easy. however, the sewing machine i have at home (borrowed from uncle william) is freaking spoilt!!! i spent like an hour plus trying to get it to work but the top tread kept snapping though i already tried fixing everything that would typically cause a problem with tension. in the end i was so pissed i went to sleep.
had a weird dream. included jason going home at midnight (like in the cinderella musical i watched on sunday wth!) and me dancing with a wet guy who turned into manuel the world's fattest man with his thigh tumours and all. can't remember the rest but the place was somewhat nice. at night with fairy lights. but ayia there are always glowing lights in my night dreams la. guess i just like them a lot.
ANYWAY. yeah. think i'll use xin's machine on sunday after church! or i might borrow it. need to make mummy's farmers' market banner by next saturday! and i think painting might be kinda irritating cause it's too big. ah yes, yesterday the three of us also semi-illegally climbed up to the top floor of the gotham city building. i think it's called parkview square. haven't done my research yet, supposed to find the architects. we peeked out to the roof with all the air-con machines but didn't step out of the stairwell cause i scared later we kena arrested haha. over 18 liao, no mercy. but yeah if i had not a care in the world i would have gone out. it looked so industrial and inviting. everything about the building though is sensational. all the details of the ground lobby (with the stupid fairy collecting your wine so you can up-skirt her) and the garden outside. LOTS of light pollution, but it looks so good.
i dunno wth i'm thinking, but architecture's feeling quite exciting to me all over again. but i really don't know if i should be doing that at all. ayia. that's why, i really want to intern at a firm or two! need to ask, pleadingly, uncle william to start me off.
i'm putting together my CV now so i can finally apply for job = $$ i think it'd look a bit unusual to some employers (why is the heading in a hexagon??) but i don't give a shit it's just format and it looks hot like that. i think it makes sense though. it's not like roti-prata rojak-lala. in my ziplock pack of official documents there's a stack of papers with a post-it on top, from my father's staff nurse, asking me to complete and scan in certain items. it was for my appeal into SAJC at the end of 2005. haha my gosh. i remember it felt so unusual then, appealing into a school i knew almost nothing about (cept that it's uniform was nice and jason went there) when my grades were like shit, and i still wanted to be in vj instead. end of the year, ah yes, we were driving around in america and dad put me on the phone with his friend (the one that helped me haha); told me getting into science would be difficult, but he should be able to get me in if i applied to arts. i associated the school then with the old campus and it's (only. wth) funfair. well. that certainly changed A HELL LOT over the years. haha feels endearing.
alright alright. byebye. going for dance later in school WHOOHOO <3# get a small thrill saying that outloud haha.
