after arriving at vivo city with mum at 9 having only 1 hour till closing time, i FINALLY bought my desigual skirt. WHOOHOO. thanks lois for that brilliant suggestion. got it at 50% off!!! i guess it's expensive but it feels like a good deal to me haha. it was within the budget mum gave me so hah!mum thinks i'm crazy and that it looks like a pasar malam buy. well i think it looks like a trash bag when on the rack, but when you put it on it's a different story :D i think it's a rather atypical buy for me but there's something about it. feels good to wear. i love all the swishy cloth. perfect.
technically this skirt is the start and end of my cny shopping. but omg i am so going back to buy more desigual when there's another sale or when i'm $$er. their wools and jackets from this season have such wonderful designs. and i still want one of their cotton skirts. i had mum buy phoebe one, but she was all moody and temperamental when we showed it to her at home and said she doesn't wear skirts. BAH. what a waste la that skirt i got her was the item i was going to buy before i found my trashbag one.
visited the national geographic store ame mentioned to me for a short while. the place is like wow. had no idea it took up that entire shopping alley. my gosh working for a company like that or for discovery is a dream man. a dream. unfortunately, none of my contacts are going good for me and getting me any jobs... alamak why like that. God, do you want me to really just work at borders or sth??
before me and mummy left vivo for home she bought herself some pre-dinner-post-shopping food at toast box. very soon the lights started to pass on the byebye message from the store workers. tried to get some breadtalk for my siblings at that point. however they'd already closed the cashier and were doing stock take of the remaining items. i asked what they did with the left overs and yes. they THROW it all away. i decided this is too much. i'm going to find out if anyone does anything about left over food in singapore. if not i'll try to find some way to have left overs donated to a soup kitchen or sth. the wastage is ridiculous. another example of the world screwing itself over.
going for a job interview tmr. it's at bloody WOODLANDS wth. and they only tell me like the night before. i don't know what's the chances of me getting it, but i don't know if i want this job man. i don't want to jeopardize other opportunities.
