after dance i went to the eye hut sth can't remember the name of the place at millennia. to check out the stock of francis klein they have there. i found the most gorgeous pair of specs, but they cost about a thousand cause of the embedded swarovski crystals. i think the design was called dylan... realised upon studying the photos i took of the frames, that it's nearly identical to the crystal clear ones i found at paragon on sunday. it's got the same basic frame shape. so i told daddy, but he says to be patient while he tries to look for the cheaper version in china.... hrmm... well. i really don't know how all this manufacturing works, but i'd like to think that handmade francis kleins are really FULLY handmade in paris.i really need to be rich when i grow up...
before i finally got to millennia though, i wandered into hmv at city link cause i decided to use up my $10 voucher from prom before i forget. scoured the racks. found seeing sounds by nerd at $19. and i was about to proceed to pay when i realised they were playing franz ferdinand's new album. checked the counter and the album was $17. got a bit stressed, did some quick thinking, and decided to buy franz instead cause it was 2 bucks cheaper. it was only after i walked 20m from hmv that i realised i made a stupid decision. all the joy pharrell's music has given me. so i went back into hmv and had them swap my purchase, took out 2 dollars more which meant nothing anyway, and walked out once more knowing that that was it. i still haven't listened to the album but i know it's going to be good. and i downloaded franz off torrent in the end anyway. heehee.
so it was basically lots of good shopping and walking alone time for myself (:
today at dance shan square played the music to the more recently choreographed bits of the syf item. the song was so sensational it was giving me goosebumps all over. if they can pull it off (which they will.) the piece will really. i don't know man i bet it'll just stop your heart. can't wait to see it all happen. ppl might cry.
in the cover sleeve of seeing sounds, pharrell suggests showering with the lights off to promote the effects of synesthesia. that is a brilliant idea. we should have a party based on that as a theme.
